FAQs
As part of ensuring that our practice is ethical, we ensure that your confidentiality is kept secure. Your counsellor will not share what you disclose to them, unless under specific circumstances.
However, there are some exceptional circumstances where we may need to break some elements of this agreement. Where possible this will be discussed with you first. Your counsellor can answer more questions about this, and you can find more information within our Client-Counsellor Agreement.
While this is something that you can discuss with your counsellor, we have no limit to the number of sessions our clients are entitled to, unless accessing our reduced fee provision. Some people find they can work through what they need to with just a few sessions, whereas others may feel they need to continue working with their counsellor for months or years. This is left up to you.
Our time limited provision allows for X consecutive sessions per client, at a reduced fee. Unfortunately, this can not be extended, and we do hold a waiting list for this service.
Our standard counselling sessions are 55 minutes long, face to face, and online.
Please get in contact if you have different needs or requirements, as we can offer a degree of flexibility in this regard.

We take payment at the point of booking your next appointment. We take payment in cash, bank transfer, or by card payment if seeing your counsellor face to face. There is more information on this within our Client-Counsellor Agreement.
We understand that sometimes plans change, and that you might need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. If this is the case, we ask that you contact your counsellor as soon as possible. Where cancellations happen within 24 hours of your session, your counsellor will unfortunately be unable to offer you a refund.
We are able to offer a reduced fee for some groups, such as students. Please contact us directly to find out how we can best support you.
